By giving a donation you help to ensure that the 140 children living in the SOS Children’s Village Buru Buru in Nairobi, Kenya can have a safe and caring upbringing with a loving SOS mother and SOS siblings in the Children’s Village Buru Buru.

Support to the wider community
By donating to an SOS village community, you also support the wider community. The village pays for carers and teachers, school books, uniforms and food, as well as providing access to good healthcare, clean water and building maintenance. It also funds community projects including our family strengthening programmes which help families in the wider area to stay together. Many of the children SOS Children’s Villages care for have had difficult life experiences and for those children with specific needs, SOS Children’s Villages provide trauma counselling and psychological support.
